The exhibit on display was donated by Mr. Stephana Milz from Peine,Germany. Mr. Milz brought this lighter from Cu Chi, Vietnam in 2005. The lighter appears to be a Zippo (R), whereas the outer shell seems to be original, while the insert looks like locally manufactured copy . On the lighter on one side there is an engraved inscription "WAR IS HELL BUT ACTUAL COMBAT IS A SON OF A BITCH". On the other side the inscription "VIET'NAM CU CHI 64-65" is engraved, additionally a metal badge with yellow parachute on blue background is glued on.
